The 1222 SE is the last of the 1222 series of machines and includes all the rolling changes/improvements throughout the manufacturing lifetime of the 1200 series machines. The 1222SE is quite difficult to find  as it was the most popular and coveted model of the 1200 Series Pfaff machines.

Changes include Arctic White/Wineberry color scheme and snap-on presser feet. The presser foot holder accommodates the new Pfaff feet made today, therefore the assortment of presser feet available for this machine is vast.

The Pfaff 1222 SE machine has 18 stitches including basic, utility and stretch stitches. The buttonhole is a 2-step buttonhole.
