The Third Hand

The Third Hand is an essential tool to use by your sewing machine, or when practicing hand embroidery. It will hold your fabric taut, enabling you to use both hands for your stitching or  hand embroidery.

Great for using with seam rippers, you can "un sew" in half the time!

In Victorian times, this was called a Sewing Bird.
